As excited as I was over last nights presidential election, I woke up this morning with sorrow filling my heart.

Proposition 8 was passed in California last night.

I'm really still in a sate of shock, and I keep going back and forth between being incredibly pissed off and depressed beyond all measure.

We all know that the elections are coming up, and one of the biggest issues that I believe needs to be addressed is Proposition 8. If Proposition 8 passes thousands of couples throughout California will be unable to marry simply because they are in a gay relationship.

So, today I saw Brokeback Mountain with four of my friends, and let me just say that this movie was amazing! The story was beautifully told, and the acting was superb.
